It got cold on Sunday and Monday. Friday, the high was 100. A record. Monday the high was 71. Also a record. For coldest high.
Yeah, we were going to go to Wild Island for our last Hurrah, but no, Mother Nature doesn't like me. It's supposed to be back in the 90's this weekend. Wild Island is now officially closed.
Also, Saturday at the game, we had our Easy Up up to keep the sun off us, and a Nevada gust of wind came and blew it up over the back of the bleachers and snapped the darn thing right in half. Luckily there was only 4 minutes left in the game, so we didn't get fried. Part of me is secretly happy is got killed. It's hard to put up, it takes at least 3 people to put up, old, like over 10 years old, ugly and faded, and, yeah, we just needed a new one, but couldn't justify getting a new one as long as we had that one. Stupid wind...

This is the first August/September I can recall here(Idaho) where summer seems to have run away very fast.
